Matt Riley
Worship Pastor
Many cultural differences exist between Nashville, Texas and California, but they all share a robust and unique appreciation for music and the arts. Perhaps this is why God allowed Matt Riley to set foot in each place along his journey to becoming a worship pastor. After earning a Bachelors degree at Nashville’s Belmont University, Matt began to discover (in Los Angeles of all places) that God could use music for more than just creating Christian rockstars but for congregations to celebrate who God is, what God has done, and to get “a glimpse of Heaven” through worshipping together. Matt is instrumental in helping CCC accomplish this each Sunday. And fortunately for all of us, he says that he loves “getting to worship alongside a whole congregation of fellow worshipers, as we join together in singing God’s praises and surrendering to His purposes.” Matt also loves his wife, Mandi, and two sons, Micah and Jonah, very much.

On Sunday morning, you can usually find me: Leading worship on stage or hanging out wherever there’s coffee.
